|
|
I have tried to install the Austrian piano EX from korg as a demo.
After hitting the install button in the disk mode I get the message: failed EXsinstall.exsins file error
Any suggestions about what the problem might be?
thanks

I've tried to understand the possible problem, however I do not see any "space" in the files or directoriries.
I am using the OS 2.02
Please help
Regards

In my case, the USB stick was wrong. Try other USB sticks and even memory cards (with a card reader)
Also, provide full details exactly where are you storing the files and which ones _________________ Current gear: Access Virus TI2 Whiteout Keyboard (111/150), Access Virus TI2 Polar DarkStar Special Edition, Gibson Custom Lite 2013, Roland MV-8800 |

try copying the files to a new install directory (create that directory first) on your SSD and try to install from there. |

No i don't think so, it's just a test to rule out if the usb stick has some trouble. |

Try opening the file EXs12.exsins (stored on the USB) on your computer by using a simple text editor. You should see something like:
OPTIONFILE=S012
EXSNUM=12
SOURCENAME1=EXs12A.tar.gz
SOURCEBLOCKS1=209756
SOURCENAME2=EXs12B.tar.gz
SOURCEBLOCKS2=209662
SOURCENAME3=EXs12C.tar.gz
SOURCEBLOCKS3=209656
...
...
Do the same with file S012 and you should get:
EXs12
SGX-1 Austrian Piano
12
2,13,EXs12 SGX-1 Austrian Piano
In my case, I was getting corrupted content and that was the reason I was unable to install. _________________ Current gear: Access Virus TI2 Whiteout Keyboard (111/150), Access Virus TI2 Polar DarkStar Special Edition, Gibson Custom Lite 2013, Roland MV-8800 |
