After setting up combi Towards The Sun to record in sequencer mode I decided to change each track (channel) assigned a drum kit to another instrument altogether. For example, I assigned Track 4 to an oboe. But when I play a note (or notes) they will not release. This goes for all drum tracks. Could anyone clue me in as to what I've completely overlooked? _________________ Current Korg Lineup: Kronos 61, Oasys 76 · M3-61/RADIAS · Trinity Plus/HDR · 01/WFD · 01R/W · X3R · M3R · Wavestation EX · Wavestation SR · Triton Rack/MOSS · Z1EX · TR-Rack · Karma · D3200 · iM1 · iWavestation · iMono/Poly

I dont know why would you do that first of all, why assign another instrument
to a Drum Track, second, Towards the Sun is a very Complex Combi and i dont
think anyone can help you with that. What are you trying to achieve? _________________ http://www.basaristudios.com

I really painted myself into a corner when I copied that combi into the sequencer. I recorded a perfect pass of a new composition I'm working on and did not want to lose it. Anyway, after started this thread I found a workaround of sorts. When I used the pop up button in the program/bank field to select a program the notes wouldn't release as I described earlier. However, if I highlighted Program Select field and used the value slider to select the same program the notes would release as they normally do. I have no idea why this is the case. Any ideas?
I took your advice and restructured the combi...just in case.
Thanks, EJ. _________________ Current Korg Lineup: Kronos 61, Oasys 76 · M3-61/RADIAS · Trinity Plus/HDR · 01/WFD · 01R/W · X3R · M3R · Wavestation EX · Wavestation SR · Triton Rack/MOSS · Z1EX · TR-Rack · Karma · D3200 · iM1 · iWavestation · iMono/Poly
