Hi all,

I am trying to master the Kronos engines. To learn their characteristics I recreated sounds from some of my favorite plug-ins: BLUE, FM8, Omnisphere. Though they certainly do not sound exact the same, some of the patches have become quite useful. Therefore I uploaded them together with some of my own thinkings. I hope you enjoy and invite you to criticize, in order to learn something. I saved them using the plug-in tool for Kronos. Altogether they are 8 sounds:
- Nice To Be Digital FM8: a fm synthlead (MOD-7)
- PJP Chill Roadz: Spheric roadz allmost guitar like sound using the (STR-1)
- PJP Cold Machine BLUE: Moving pad sound like the initial sound of BLUE (AL-1)
- PJP EVox Strings OMNI: Layered pad (Polysix)
- PJP Fat Air JD Pad OMNI: Airy Pad (AL-1)
- PJP Poly Rose FM8: FM keys (MOD-7)
- PJP Synthetic Beauty: Synthetic mallet sound ( AL-1)
- PJP Taped pad: pad sound with a bit of a mellotron character (AL-1)
I wanted to make more, but it takes me a lot of time. You can download them here: http://korgpatches.com/patches/kronos/pjp_8_patches

Sounds very interesting. As my Kronos is in the service shop right now, some demo files would be great!

maybe it's a better idea to create just one PCG file for this. .Pat files are from the editor, but not many people use the editor. So therefor a PCG file would be a much better solution.

Thanks for sharing your sounds Smile

I have uploaded it at the same place where you can download the soundfiles:
http://korgpatches.com/patches/kronos/pjpsoundfiles01
But the moderator of that site has not released it yet. I don't know when he will...
