Wave Sequencing 101

Trying to grasp this concept. I've set up a new wave sequence of 6 waves. In the wave sequence window, I use Key Sync so that it re-triggers with every key press. Saved the wave sequence and went into program mode with an init program. Assigned the new wave sequence to the program and made sure that key sync is checked in vector envelope page. Instead of re-triggering sequence with each key press, it continues through the whole sequence. I must be missing something here. Anyone have a clue?

Wrong page. That Key Sync is for the programmable Vector Envelope which can be set for different "position" patterns - Instead of moving the Vector wand with your hands, the positions can be automated and looped.

For the wave sequence, go to the Program's BASIC/VECTOR page and press the PROGRAM BASIC tab. On the right side of your screen, you should see "WAVE SEQUENCE - Swing - Key Sync - Quantize Triggers." Check the Key Sync in that section.
