Hi guys! Here is my question regarding the M1. Few years ago I replaced my M1's battery (i still remember how and where it is) but what I don't remember is how to load the sounds to the keyboard. I know I have to disable memory protection to load sounds and enable MIDI channels, etc.. if I want to load the sounds via MIDI/USB cable, computer. My question is, how do I load the sounds from an actual card that I have? I lost my USB/MIDI cables that I had to load factory sounds faster and now I don't have other option but to use the card. How do I load the sounds all at once from the card? Is it possible or do I have to load one by one? I remember I load one by one few years back from that same card, but don't recall how to do it. I looked online already ( I did my homework ok) but there is only help on transferring the sounds from the computer, which I know takes literally minutes or seconds to do.
I am replacing the battery for a friend that just lost all his sounds and he needs help, so he came to me. Do I have to buy the MIDI/USB cables again or the card should be enough?
Thanks!

Assuming the card you have is the factory preload, it's enough.Ryumexicano wrote:[...]I am replacing the battery for a friend that just lost all his sounds and he needs help, so he came to me. Do I have to buy the MIDI/USB cables again or the card should be enough?
Press the "GLOBAL" button, then go to Page 8, "LOAD FROM CARD". This is covered on page 119 of the M1 Owner's Manual. If you don't have the manual, a PDF copy of it can be downloaded from:

Wow!!!! You are freaking awesome my friend!! Thank you so much. I have most of the sounds in that card. Hopefully that will do it. I truly appreciate your time. Thanks.

Anoquestion guys!!
I just remember that I bought this product long time ago when I was recording a few things at home:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/TASCAM-US-122-U ... 2578e71495
I believe I can use this to transfer the sounds to the Korg M1 right? I have the USB cord, but I am missing the MIDI cables. I would just need to buy the MIDI cables right? Will this work to use the sysex transfer?
How do I connect the MIDi cable there? I plug the IN to the interface and the out in the IN of the keyboard, right? Do I need two MIDi cables for this or just one? I don't remember. I will look on line for now. Any help greatly appreciate it.
Thanks!!
