Hi All,

Have had this for a week. Loving it . Some questions:

- I loaded an MP3, can I make the transpose ONLY apply to my keys and not the song ?
- Is there any tips out there for quickly switching from a completely set of new performances ? (Without having to go into each bank and choose the sound you want.)
- Is there anyway to keep the style screen lockes even though I'm jumping between performances ?

Thanks. Cool

How will you then be able to pick an instrument if the screen is locked in styles?

Not sure if its the same but on the Pa3x if you hit shift and the transpose button it brings up a menu where you can untick Transpose Applies to Player 1 & 2.

Hello, I'd like to do the contrary:

-Transpose ONLY the MP3 song and not the keyboard. Is it possible ?

Thanks

Yes. leave "Transpose Applies to Player 1 & 2" Ticked but change "In Realtime" to "Off" for Style and Keyboard Tracks using the little dropdown arrow menu.

Songbook, Book Edit 2, Change M. Transp., Write.
Alternatively you could permanently transpose your Mp3 using a program such as this: http://www.transposr.com/mp3

hello reuben

thanks for your answer. it doesn't work. In book edit 2, I can't change the M transpose value, wich is grey. However, if my song is already transposed, the value (-1 or -2 or...) figure beside the M. Transpose. But when I touch write, it record but when I recall the MP3 song, it is not at the transposed key

Thanks to help

Are you recalling the song through Songbook? The key change wont work if you are recalling it through direct through the Player.

Yes, the MP3 song is in songbook. I do Songbook, i select the song, book edit 2, and the M transp is still grey. I can't change the key. I certainly do something wrong. The mode is set to song play.

Check your transpose lock settings under Global, Lock. I think you need to unlock.
Best,
John
