| dear all, I am Rami, I have a problem and hope you can help me... when i click the sound button then the record button nothing happens... in other words, I tried to load a sample from one set, then it was the letter "no enough pcm memory", i tried to delete some PCMs but i couldn't because as I said before when i click the SOUND button then the RECORD button nothing happens... can you help me friends? |

Sound Edit - Menu - User PCM Samples.
There, use one of the options to delete/ clear user PCM Samples. |

but ... sound - record does not activate anything like PCM Menu.
is it something really wrong? no mention about it in the maual.
by the way, i need your help in the following (will this be possible? i don't know) -
the pa600 package contains the following sets in its dvd.
1. ta_world.set
2. realdrums.set
both of them have samples/ multisamples.
when i load the second set the samples of first set gets overwritten.
how will i be able to load and use both?
i have another set provided by indian korg distributors (protected by a dongle)
would like to keep all three loaded inside pa600.
samples of all three put together will not exceed 96MB limit in pa600.

This is weird ! and definitely bad news !
No matter what you had loaded or not SOUND/Record activates PCM menu , if not then , either record button
is out of order nor your system files are corrupted and you must reset and reload factory resources !
And take care next time when loading anything you find around !!! |
for a moment i was shocked to see your remarks.
now i am relieved that in pa 600 sound - record does not give any menu as rightly observed by rami.
the other menu in page 133 of pa600 reference guide (not advanced guide as you mentioned i suppose) was what i had suggested how to reach to our friend rami - prior to your remark.

How can I expect to remember all menus of my 4 PaSeries arrangers  , I probably forgot that PCM access is via menu
and not from record TAB , sorry but I was sure for equivalent PCM access there , not at studio right now to confirm it but
if you say so I have no reason to doubt so I'll correct my post till then !

its ok, actually your authoritative remarks gave me an impression that there was going to be a PCM menu from sound - record with some pcm managing capabilities.
if ever you happen to merge the two - realdrum and ta_world sets on your higher end pa, kindly upload the merged set for the benefit of pa600 users. is there a software for doing this? |
