On the Pa600 is it possible to take two or more midi files and 'connect' them to make a medley?

Yes. Use the Jukebox Editor (see Menu in Songplay mode) to string together midi files into one medley. Your Jukebox files can be named and recalled into the song player just like individual midi files.
