AK's work on a substitute for the BC series is very commendable. As I understand it, the harmonica holder is just for the demo model and there will be some other way to wear it. The conversion box that brings it to a 1/4" out also has a 1/4" in so you can still use a regular expression pedal.
I am anxiously awaiting reviews from the people here that have ordered the TEC model, especially those who plan to use it with the Kronos. _________________ Latest Set Up: Kronos 61, Casio Privia, Korg TR61, EoWave Ribbon, Roli Rise 48, TEC Breath Controller, StudioLogic MP-117 Bass Pedals, Moog Theremini.

Hey all- Kronos os is class-complaint as is the TEControl. Theoretically, it should work. I've contacted the company and they said the product hasn't been tested with Kronos, though.- Tim |

I think mine is being held at the Post Office. I should be able to report tomorrow. _________________ Korg Gear: (2) Kronos, PS3100, (2) MaxiKorg, PE1000, Z1Ex, MS20M,(2) OASYS-PCI, Synthe Pedal, Wavedrum WD-1, Prophecy, SQ1, 2600FS, M3M |

It is plug & play direct into the Kronos! It comes preset to MIDI CC02 and if you download Busch's breathcontroller programs, the TEC BC works perfectly right out of the box.
That said, I think the mouthpiece is quite lacking and I think I will try to fashion something else to use.
Regards,
MM

As it turns out, the mouth piece from an old broken yamaha BC-2 fits perfectly on the tubing provided and it provides a much more comfortable bite.

Many thanks mm-pro. Just put mine on order. I assume the tubing is long enough to reach the back of the Kronos and not get in the way. _________________ Latest Set Up: Kronos 61, Casio Privia, Korg TR61, EoWave Ribbon, Roli Rise 48, TEC Breath Controller, StudioLogic MP-117 Bass Pedals, Moog Theremini.

Plenty long, I cut about a foot off. I am running it under the keyboard, though.

They are on Bill Busch's Kronos Blog:

I had the wrong link for a second, but fixed now.

I ordered mine on the 20th...it probably depends on customs at whatever airport/port it comes into the country. _________________ Korg Gear: (2) Kronos, PS3100, (2) MaxiKorg, PE1000, Z1Ex, MS20M,(2) OASYS-PCI, Synthe Pedal, Wavedrum WD-1, Prophecy, SQ1, 2600FS, M3M |
