This forum is so lonely
So I think it's time to put the first post here... And I'll reference some other threads regarding this synth:
- Korg MS20 Mini ?
- MS20 videos by Marc Doty _________________ Current gear: Access Virus TI2 Whiteout Keyboard (111/150), Access Virus TI2 Polar DarkStar Special Edition, Gibson Custom Lite 2013, Roland MV-8800 |

Good call. I guess we could link to any videos, articles and pages for the original, vintage MS-20 since they're basically the same heart and soul.
Don't forget official manuals, documents and downloads.
There, much less lonely!
Cheers!

How retro of them to just use the original manuals Although I guess it is kind of cool. |

And how retro of them to re-create the MS-20! I'll forgive them their retro-ness!
Who knows where Roland would be today if they'd re-released the x0x series (they can keep the TR-505, though). Between the MS-20mini and the Volca series I think the next few decades' worth of dance tracks will quite easily be dominated by Korg!

There's a heap of info over at gearslutz but also there's masses of speculation & hot air. Only half of it is constructive & nearly all of it is from people awaiting pre-orders.
This thread would do well to stay real & when more people actually receive the unit there will be far more constructive & factual information to share.
Anyone here got their ms 20 mini yet ? Feels like i'm waiting an eternity for mine. The demo's & reviews sound fantastic & the sounds coming from it surpass my expectations.
I can't wait to get hold of one of these. A few months ago i thought i'd never own an ms20 so you could have knocked me over with a feather when this was revealed !
I'm stoked, totally !.....C'mon Korg ,let us have it ! Get shipping ! _________________ My current Korg gear. MS20 Mini... & now the .... Oh, maybe not !

Too bad he stopped just short of demonstrating the pitch->CV input. I have so much fun with that feature on the Kronos MS20EX with my bass guitar and even TB-303!
Thanks for sharing the vid link! Cheers!

hi guys !
I don't know if i post in the right section of the forum, I just made an application to share and find some MS20 patches.
It's php/MySQL website that allows you to post your own settings and find others settings.
It's here and it's free :
www.analogpatches.fr
You will find and share patches and setting for the Korg MS-20, but soon you will find other models for other synthesizers.
See you ! |
