|
|
There seems to be a destructive OS v1.0 bug , concerning style's track sound assign recognition with User Bank B sounds !
Example:
An assigned style track (acc4) with a User B sound let's say of page 16 , frequently looses communication with this sound
and returns instead to a Gm factory sound , though in record mode sound is correctly assigned !
(note that original sound box is always checked in styles ).
This weird situation is unpredictable and happens mostly after a previous style that acc4 is assigned to User A !
If you try to change that Gm sound , when this issue happens , with the right sound of User B page 16 ,
then location is not accepted , sound tab can't be pressed and returns again to that factory sound except if you try
a neighbor sound in User sound Bank B !
My temporary solution for my developments when this issue happens , is to copy and assign that sound
in a vacant place of user Bank A ! very annoying ... !
This must be urgently fixed since all Korg third-party developers will face horrible issues with their style resources ! _________________ Music Conductor - Sound Engineer & Developer - Automotive SMPS/RF R&D - Electronics Engineer

Today I found another "interesting" bug.
Let's say that you assign the Quarter Tone function on one of the 2 Assignable Switches.
Normally, when you press it, the soft button on the Style Play/ Scale tab page will also show as being pressed and you can hold it down, press the desired keys on the keyboard to set your scale.
When Synchro Start is on, you press the assignable switch, and you press the keyboard, but your key presses are not recognized...!!!
Please Paolo, let the soft guy know and fix this. |

Both of them are in style record mode.
1. Try to play some RX notes with an appropriate sound, let's say a Bass with the slides and all this stuff, positioned on notes above B6.
PA600 WILL NOT recognise them as RX notes, taking them as normal notes when checked at event list edit.
So you must go and manually change each one note by using the Event list editor...
Time loss and frastrating!!!
2. Try to record a second CV on an element and assign it the Sus2 or Sus4 chord.
Check your style in the Style Element Track Control and it is ok.
Then exit Style Record Mode and Switch off you PA600.
Swith it back on and test your style...
The CV with the Sus2/4 triggering, does NOT respond until you enter the Style Record Mode for the current style, do nothing, exit and as of a miracle, everything is ok!
until the next switch off of the instrument....!!
Are we serious????????? |

Update:
Item no1 is valid, item no2 is not.
It was our fault.
We should check the chord recognition mode and choose Expert mode.
Our apologies....! |
