|
|
Hello all, I just bought my new Krome. I've used a Roland E500 for the last 15 years so this board is Greek to me. I've got the sequence figured out and saving the song when I'm done. I want to play along with the song using some of the different sounds in the keyboard. How do you play the song and get to the different sounds of the keyboard? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks |

The keys will play whatever track is currently selected. So the first thing is to switch to an unused track. You can do that on SEQ P0: Play/REC. The track selector is right below the song name (Parameter Guide p109/110).
Then setup that track with the sound you want to play with. You can do that from the same page. Also make sure that the track is set to play and is not muted also on the same page.
Press the play button and your song will play and you can play along. |

You have to be in sequencer mode to play a song. The other way would be to record the audio outs into a DAW and play it back from there. |

One more thing, I'm still reading and learning. Only had it 2 days. I've seen post that say you can store your sequences in the internal memory, but the operator manual says it has to be stored on a sd card. Any advise in this area would be appreciated. |

All data in the sequencer is lost when you power off. Always save your songs to an SD card first. |
