I am having a hard time finding something that will protect this thing especially in the hardcase department because of its dimensions.

All I can find so far is a softcase like this that has just barely the adequate dimensions to do a reasonable job.

The dividers are removable

19 x 12.5 x 12.5

The best hardcase would probably be one made for an accordion. Those come in bunch of random sizes.

I found on eBay what looks like an official Korg MS20 Mini case from a seller in Japan.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Official-KORG-Soft-case-SC-MS20-MINI-for-MS-20MINI-F-S-New-Free-shipping-/281133530880
$145

Here's an SBK case for half the cost of the machine itself:
http://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/3i221710MS20
$300

Prices are a bit inflated. Maybe the US prices will be more reasonable...(???)

I got a few ideas:
A suitcase will work and you can get a cheap one online.

I ended up getting one of those Rubbermaid tubs with a lid since I just use it at my house and it works great (keeps the cats out)

Another good idea is find a cheap new /or used accordion case. The shape is good and the dimensions are close.

I got one of thiese: http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-KORG-MS-20MINI-Soft-case-SC-MS20-MINI-/281148324852
They're not ideal but they definitely beat lugging the thing round in the box it came in, or in nothing at all.
Since I"ve got it, I've been using it at gigs, and it brings the mini in at a size where I can take it on flights as carryon luggage, so it does the trick.
I think even with the SKB flight case, I'd be hesitant to check this in as checking in luggage on a plane.

Im currently using this to house my ms20 mini

http://www.harborfreight.com/20-inch-rollaway-tool-bag-3264.html

Its a tight fit, but the price was right. The pockets are useful for the psu and patch cables.
