Ok, it's online.

Because of the very large file size and the expectation that many people will download this, you may get an error when trying to go to the link above. If you do, please try again later as I will be turning on and off this download to balance the bandwidth usage.

Regards
Sharp.

Thank You Sharp, this will be very interesting to try. Very Happy

When I unpack the rar-files I get information that some files are corrupted in all 4 files.

What are you using to extract the data ?

I've just checked my source files and there's no problems there. I will download the online version now just to check that the upload went ok.

Regards
Sharp.

Crap.... Your right. File 1 and 3 are corrupt.

Guys, stop downloading.
When I have fixed this I will post a message here.

I'm going to disable the download page for the moment too.

Ok, files are verified. Sorry about that.

Roland D-50.part1.rar
262,144,000 bytes

Roland D-50.part2.rar
262,144,000 bytes

Roland D-50.part3.rar
262,144,000 bytes

Roland D-50.part4.rar

Too many people are also trying to download the data at the same time and they are being disconnected so please use a download manager if you can, and make sure you check your file sizes after you have download the data.

Sharp,

This seems like a fantastic effort from your side!

I actually just bought back my K73 from the guy that bought it from me a year ago, seems like my timing couldn't have been any better! Smile

So,what can we expect, did you sample the factory presets (Fantasia, Digital Native Dance, Soundtrack, Staccato Heaven etc?)

Thanks.

I didn't even know you sold your KRONOS. Well, that's handy getting a machine you know its history.

Yeah, between sampling and having a D50 beside the KRONOS to compare against and tweak, this does contain all the presets of a D50 for the KRONOS.

She's 26 years old so as far as I'm concerned, this falls into the same category as pretty much all the sampling that's going on of classic synths by everyone.

Regards
Sharp.

Yes, it is indeed handy. (Especially as I had a new keybed installed just prior to selling it.)

Anyway, looking forward to trying out your sound set!

Enjoying the classic sounds, and they're better than the originals with the Kronos effects. A few could maybe benefit from some additional velocity layers, like Arco Strings. I have some Akai AX60 sounds I sampled and will make available someday, if I can face the learning curve on the Kronos.

Hi Jeff.
The download is working fine, just try again. There's a lot of people trying to download the data at the same time, so due to the traffic some people are being disconnected by the server. If you have a download manager, best to use that as you can resume if you get disconnected.

Regards
Sharp.

Same problem, same solution Smile

Even with all four files highlighted, for some reason 7-zip gets confused at the end of each part and throws up errors.

Never had a problem with 7-zip before
