I connecrted my vocal harmonizer to the PA 600 and when I used it everything was fine until I used the transpose on the keyboard. The PA 600 will play the proper chords on the harmonizer in a straight key, but will not when I'm in transpose mode. Example, playing the C-F-G standard chords is fine. When I transpose +3 I get a signal that both the keyboard and the vocalist are talking with each but the notes are not being transposed. On the PA3 there were no problems. Any suggestions? Thanks. Chuck

Short question is. Is there a way to get the PA 600 to transmit a transpose signal to my Digitech Vocalistl? Thanks. Chuck

Check the settings in GLOBAL >> TUNING >> TRANSP(ose)

Press SHIFT & TRANSPOSE+ keys to get there quickly

Thanks, I tried that and it seems to work. I'll know tomorrow during rehearsal. Rick, I want you to know that I really appreciate you sharing your knowledge with me. I'm an old guy and I just could not find how to do this in the manual. You always seem to have the answer. Thanks again, Chuck

Well, from one 'old guy' to another, you're very welcome! Wink

Thoraldus. Is there a split point I should set. It appears that the PA600 is sending signals from both my left and right hand. So the harmonies really suck. On the PA3 my harmonies were played with my left hand and they sounded fine. On the 600 it appears both hands are transmitting signals and so the harmonies are terrible. I tested playing only the left hand and they sounded better. Any suggestions? Thanks Surprised

Sure. Assuming you are in STYLE mode and have SPLIT on ... If you don't need the right hand midi out you can turn it off. Go to GLOBAL >> MIDI >> MIDI OUT CHANNEL and turn everything OFF you don't want sent out.

Hi Chuck

I had the same problem. If you set the VH channel to the Chord setting as in other Korg keyboards that does not work either. I reported this to Korg ages ago and it was not fixed on the update.

The work around I found was to lock the lower sound with the sound ON . The VH does not respond if the lower sound is muted, I normally set the lower sound to string's.

Set master transpose to off, the songbook will then respond to the transpose setting for individual song's.

I eventually tried sending the headphone output to the AUX input on my TC Helicon Voicelive Touch which seems to track the harmony's much better than MIDI signals, this solved all the problems.

Hope this help's

Col
