Hi All,
Wondering if balanced TRS or unbalanced TS cables matter for the Global. Or, does it vary by what you are connecting to? |

The WD does not have a balanced output but 2 normal unbalanced line outs.
You connect them with 1 or 2 guitar cables (or similar) to your iDock.
I recommend rectangular plugs on 1 end
its safer for the WD plastic jacks ...
The "balanced" iDock connection is for a microfone with an XLR plug ,
to keep it noisefree .
To connect the WD with a balanced cable you would need a DI box . |

Using 90° plugs on one end of each cable is a great idea. Very important to prevent breakage on the plastic jack panel.
Especially if your studio looks like a spaghetti factory like mine. |

thanks for the help on this. I wasn't able to get the 90 degree at the local shop, they only had 15' with 90s on them. gonna look for an adaptor though. |
