Hello, I'm Trying to get sounds like the intro of this octopus project song http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cV6VWY30NJU
I have a Microsampler and a Microkorg ,I would like to know if i'm going to be able to get that type of sound with these pieces of gear or if i need something else like a korg ms20... If its possible to get those sounds with my gear, would it be possible for you to lead me to a video or tutorial to achieve that?
Thank you in advance
Here's another video that show a similar "sound" starting 0:15 seg http://vimeo.com/68661953
Thanks again
Miguel.

Sounds like two different sounds but also like if you have a synth with an arpeggiator & more than one voice you ought to be able to get something like it without buying a whole other synth.
Not sure about the microsampler but isn't the microkorg diverse enough ? (Never did buy one)
Sounds a bit like an arp sequence playing a saw wave mixed with some other x modulated wave....Or something ! That sharp teeth video is great btw, relly enjoyed.
The other one sounds like a piano voice. Maybe played on keyboard with added distortion or white noise maybe....Tricky to say ! |
