When I try 'Install Korg USB MIDI Device' I get a dialog box saying 'No device plugged in'. It looks like my Microsampler can't communicate with a computer. I tried a friend's Microsampler on my computer and that worked straight away so suggests a fault with my sampler, a connection or output, any ideas? Is it likely to be costly to get fixed?

I don't know if you have a fault with your microsampler or not.
The only thing i can think of is to make sure you have the proper korg drivers. It won't work without those anyway ,Download from korg.
