Ok i have recorded the sync out and dumped it in ableton sampler. I have a grid size of 1/16 on a midi track with 4 notes starting at 1, 1.2, 1.3 and 1.4. the bar is one in length looped.
Should i have all 16 notes?
also the sampler valume control has had to be turned up really high otherwise the monotribe wont trigger BUT the send is in the red. not sure what or if i need to do anything about that. I had assumed that as i had recorded its own pulse it would trigger ok at the recorded strength.
regards in advance _________________ Peter Bailey |

It should work ok.
Have you tried trimming down each sync pulse as an individual one shot sample- then normalizing it-before placing it in a sequence (audacity is perfect for this)? This way you can turn the tempo up and down of your master- in this case Ableton- and actually watch each note being triggered on the Monotribe. You can certainly do this using an ESX without any problems. |
