Hi, can anyone tell me exactly how does a pattern change when pattern change mode is set to bar line?

I'd like to know if the next selected pattern starts playing from the start, or whether its 'in phase' with the previous pattern, for example if you triggered patt2 just before the last bar of patt1 (a 4 bar phrase) would you get the last bar of pattern2 or would it start from bar 1?

Knowing this would really help me decide whether to get one... many thanks

It starts from bar 1, what you describe there it something akin to legato mode on ableton, it would be fantastic if this option was implemented, but it's not unfortunately.
