Hello,

I'm a newbie coming from a Yamaha PSR950 to a Korg PA900.

I've been looking for the Jodel (yodel) patch and pad for the Pa900.

Does anyone know where I can get this from and how to install and
use it.

the pa3x MUSIKANT has this in it and many more , it is in the ram sample part , so if we could fine some one with a pa3x musikant keyboard and have them send us full set of styles, performance, sound , and the loaded RAM ,its just like when we do a save all ,its easy , just the samples are export ,,,

Thanks Duby2 for your quick response to my jodel question.

I saw two different videos on Youtube with a person from
Germany playing on the PA600 and Pa3x. So then I knew it
would probably work on the PA900.

I'll be awaiting for someone to share from Musikant.

if we all should get the data from a musikant ,, it will not be perfect ,,but you can work with it and get some good thing from it ,, you should try to track down someone who has a pa3x musikant ,,

You can freely download the Musikant set file from KORG Germany here ...

http://www.korg.de/produkte/keyboards-produktbersicht/produktinfo0/pa600-musikant-erweiterung.html

but, without the microSD unlock dongle, you will not be able to load the Musickant samples. Fortunately most of the styles will play fine with factory sounds.

thoraldus ,
are you saying that we can load the Pa600_MUSIKANT_v110.BKP in to the pa900 or pa3x

I wouldn't load the entire BKP file but you can 'OPEN' it and load just the Styles. You can drill down into the BKP file and selectively load what you want. Just use a wee bit of discretion and do not load DK, PCM or GLOBAL. Any PAD, STYLE or SONGBOOK references to custom PCM sounds will be missing those sounds.

Duby2 & Thoraldus thank you both for your input to my yodel question.

It's the sounds and pad patches that'll make the keyboard yodel.

Perhaps down the road I'll stumble across these on the internet.

Once again, thanks to both of you for your input.

Thoraldus ,
thank you ,,
but how can you open the BKP file ,, I can see , that you can just load the pad , styles or songbook , I do not think you just drill down into the BKP and if so ,, how ,, in a computer or the keyboard ,,

Just OPEN the file in the LOAD tab of the MEDIA page on your keyboard.

I'm sorry. Guess my head is not screwed on right today.

Before starting be sure to backup your Favorite styles. Go to Media > Save and Select ALL then press Open. Select Style and press Save To. Now press NewSet, then press 'T' to rename your Styles set. When you get the Warning, press Yes. After you load the Musikant styles below, OPEN your saved Styles.SET and reload any previous styles you wish to restore.

Go to Media > Utilities and select Resource Restore then press Execute. You should now see your BKP files. Select the Pa600_Musikant.BKP and press Restore. You will now have a screen with a red box in the ALL. Press the red box to deselect ALL. Now deselect everything except Style. Press Execute and Yes. Power cycle your keyboard when told to. Your Style Favorites 1 through 10 will now have all the Musikant styles. Please note that some of the Styles will have pointers to Sounds that you did not load. You can reprogram those styles with the regular Sounds in your keyboard.

Check your Messages. Wink
