This is not only for PA600 (It is for any arranger kind of KB basically)
You can make sound in many different ways:
- Bring sound out from stone, wood, water, glass etc.
- Make instuments which uses that sounds (and are more temporated)
- You can play on this natural instruments ( winding, strumming etc.).
Now this samples are recorded and maded as sounds that You can use on Your KB separately - (Sounds and drums\Percussions etc).
When You select an any sound (or drumkit instument)
You get that that sound which is recorded (and adopted)
for You by a manufacturer.
Thru MIDI You can just say: how high/low it should sound (and lot of things to modify that command - sound) - called notes.
Styles consists a sequence and different kind the Midi commands you can choose.
There is no converters (as far as i know) for that (arranger) kind of instrument.
Some of an arrangers can use samples and loops in style but it is a defferent story.
Hopefully it is helpful
