Hi I'm new to the forums and I have a question. At the rear of the PA600 there are Left/Mono Right outputs. Do I connect only one cable to the Left/Mono output or do I connect two cables to the Left/Mono and Right outputs to receive Stereo sound from a Receiver. Hope someone knows a answer to this question. |

You need two cables for stereo and of course your amplifier need to be stereo to work.
Left/Mono sums the two channels to a combined mono signal so you only need one cable if using a mono amp.

If my output speaker is a mono system, i need to connect the cable to the left audio output in the KB. Please correct me if im wrong.

Darryl,
That is correct. Don't plug anything into Right unless you have a stereo setup.
As soon as you plug into Right the summed L+R (from Left/Mono) will revert to Left only.
A good way to check what is happening with your setup is to select a drum kit and play C2,B2...down to F2 and hear the stereo pan on the drums. If your sound is getting softer or louder as you play then your setup is not correct. |
