Can anybody help me understand what is the meaning of the following diagnostic hot key combinations for Korg Radias ?
I only know the frist one as I used it for firmware update. The rest I found by accident and briefly described in this topic.
As you can see Each initial combination works with [POWER ON] on button only. It would be nice if somebody can provide more professional description.

[MASTER FX ON] + [CURSOR <>^ keys] + [POWER ON] =
Verup firmware update mode with firmware revision display

[MASTER FX ON] + [PAGE -] + [PAGE +] + [POWER ON] =
another Verup firmware update mode with firmware revision display

[MASTER FX ON] + [UTILITY] + [POWER ON] =
CALIBRATION (keyboard calibration ?)

[MASTER FX ON] + [EDIT/YES] + [EXIT/NO] + [POWER ON] =
Blank LCD screen - have no idea what is this...

OSCILATOR 1
[OSC MOD] + [WAVE ^] + [POWER ON]=
(looks like test mode or some kind of synth diagnostic mode)

[OSC MOD] + [MOD SEQUENCER ON] + [POWER ON] =
(Another test diagnostic mode, more tests there, Audio, input, output, L and Main R test)

[OSC MOD] + [MOD SEQUENCER REC] + [POWER ON]=
(Firmware version info SYS, PCM, USR + Radias logo)
When you press DOWN + 16 = shortcut to Synth Title menu

OSCILATOR 2
[OSC MOD] + [WAVE ^] + [POWER ON]=
(keyboard test mode)

Two years late, but I can answer one of these. This mode:

is used to update the OS over 5-pin MIDI DIN, instead of over USB. Useful if you have a unit where the Cursor Up/Left and Cursor Down/Right buttons don't work, as is the case with my unit. Sad

And this:

Quote:

OSCILATOR 1
[OSC MOD] + [WAVE ^] + [POWER ON]=

is used to run the test sequence described in the service manual. Unfortunately, you can't complete the test sequence without a program that the manual refers to as "Jig."

I believe Citizen Klaus has a copy/paste error here. [MASTER FX ON] + [EDIT/YES] + [EXIT/NO] + [POWER ON] is used to update via MIDI

That said, THANKS for the info, because I thought my Radias was bricked due to an aborted OS update via USB... now seems to be updating over MIDI!!!
