|
|
hi there
i bought an ms20mini and i like the sound a lot. the ms 20 mini is perfect in my opinion for heavy basses and lead-sounds. however, i m now thinking to buy a second synth im addition to the ms20mini. i m looking for a synth for the more atmospheri and broader sounds. i think a polysynth might be useful for this purpose and i m thinking of an nord lead 2x, even if its a va. is that a good idea in a sense that they match or are there any other suggestions? |

It's really about finding the right synth that ticks the boxes for your requirements. Nobody can tell you which synth to get.
Personally i have an ms20m & some other gear including two novation a-stations which are v/a. They do make a good contrasting synth for an analogue mono & are able to produce those more atmospheric sounds like pads etc. That kind of synth offers a different palette rather than more of the same but the science is still roughly the same.
Just work out what you want to do exactly & find a unit to suit. _________________ My current Korg gear. MS20 Mini... & now the .... Oh, maybe not !
