Totally! It sure does help as well to have a friendly and helpful forum like this one where you can come in and ask totally noob questions and have helpful folk like yourselves give informative answers that are legitimately useful.
I think everytime I"ve asked a question myuself or followed someone else's thread in the short time I"ve been here, I"ve learned something new and helpful. Which is really great.

True that! I'm learning everyday with my ms20. I see more analog synths in my future!

Yeah I'm seriously contemplating getting started on the synthesizers.com entry plan deal.

It's crazy times we live in. Imagine back in 1978 when the ms20 appeared & communication technology was still a dream for most. If the internet was around then ,the same questions would have been getting asked.
As luck would have it, there are some ms20 users who have owned a unit for years & are willing to share tips & info. I see that fact as a bonus but really i try to discover my ms20m in a natural & evolving way. There's no rush to try everything at once & there's years to explore it further. I find it easy & immediate to get the sounds i want from it as it stands & without any patch cables. This is what makes it a good synth, all the standard stuff on tap but more to discover & keep it interesting.

I have heard some older users say how boring it is etc.. but really i think those kind of people just took a wrong turn up their own ass some time.
In reality it is a solid & consistent unit that delivers what many people want from a synthesizer which is exactly why it has been remade this year, popular demand. Korg were called 'BRAVE' for doing this but i think they just knew it was a winner.

Wink
