Hi,
Like many other users I struggle a lot with recording drums and arpegiators into cubase (or another DAW).
I followed the instructions in this forum post:
http://www.korgforums.com/forum/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=82419
I choose a PROG with a drum track (like "A004 Reed EP 200A")
Following the instructions in the forum post, I was able to record both the notes I played on the keyboard and the drum track (notes) in Cubase.
Now I have in Cubase two tracks:
midi track 1: rhodes
midi track 10: drums
After recording in Cubase, I switch of the "Drum Tracks" button on the Krome, as I do not want Krome to trigger the drum sequences again.
Instead I want Korg to play back to actual drum midi notes as now recorded in Cubase.
However, when I play back both tracks from Cubase, only the Rhodes are actually played. Whatever I do, whatever midi channel I select for the drum track (specified in Krome and in Cubase), the drums stay silent.
I guess I am doing something wrong, but I have no clue what.
Thanks for your help,
Rob |
