To me as a user it is essential to see a program in action and get an impression in daily use. Everything else is secondary to me, even if it may be very interesting discussions for the programmer.
So while discussions in advance are fine in the sense you mentioned, IMHO it doesn't make much sense to discuss a programm in great detail only theoretically, over a TOO long time, before even making a basic version available for everyday user experience. _________________ Kronos 73 - Moog Voyager RME - Moog LP TE - Behringer Model D - Prophet 6 - Roland Jupiter Xm - Rhodes Stage 73 Mk I - Elektron Analog Rytm MkII - Roland TR-6s - Cubase 12 Pro + Groove Agent 5 |

Hey Folks thanks for all the great emails and comments.
I have been busy putting together some custom KARMA stuff, but PCGed is still moving along. I use it all the time and it really has helped my workflow.
So, I thought it might be interesting to show a couple videos of workflow ideas. Here is the first. The main concept here is having the software keep track of links between programs and combis, so you don't have to. I find the need to shuffle things around and dont want to have spreadsheets and charts to tell me what is safe to move or change. I move kind of fast in the video so it isn't too long, hope it all makes sense. Thanks for the support!

Glad it makes sense. I think most of us learned the hard way, which after this long seems like something that can be fixed.
With my Triton that would happen to everybody and I remember elaborate spreadsheets people would create by hand, trying to show all the connections. And of course once you changed something the spreadsheet had to be re-done or a copy made.
I am with you on saving to a new slot. But as someone that puts together banks for others, I image you can also see how at some point some of the copy and paste things I am trying to do can make things a little easier. _________________ My mostly Kronos videos:

Hard to tell exactly what that software does. I hate to compare, hopefully you can get a good sense from the sneak peek videos, that is why I am doing them. _________________ My mostly Kronos videos:

Since I got email from several people I will post here.
I was on the road last week so things slowed down. Hope to post a new video next week showing the Global page. _________________ My mostly Kronos videos:

Another update post.
I was approached to create an editor like application for a different product.
Even though the Kronos is my main piece of gear there is enough company and monetary support behind this to make it a real consideration. PCGed works for me and several others, it just need polishing, error checking - that time consuming stuff.
So, long story short - it will take a back seat for a bit. Not dead, not even hibernation, but instead of releasing in May as I had originally thought.... it will be down the road. If anybody is interested I am happy to send progress reports to you or post them here if enough people want to know. _________________ My mostly Kronos videos:

Hey thanks for asking! New project is great but taking more time than I had expected. PCGed is moving very slowly. I hope that will change soon.
I will take this as a little encouragement to find the time!
Thanks for checking in! _________________ My mostly Kronos videos:
