total newbie to syths and i got a microkorg to start out.
can you make a vibrato effect with it? and can it be assigned to the mod wheel for quick usage?

Hi,

Yes.

Assuming you are talking about the original mK.
Go to the pitch row (using Edit Select 1) and use knob 5 to set the intensity of the vibrato effect. This is like the maximum vibrato effect when the MOD wheel is all the way up.
When the MOD wheel is rolled up, LFO2 will then modulate the pitch.

Configure LFO2 as you wish, e.g. a sine wave and a certain frequency.

Note that the MOD wheel can also be the source of a virtual patch and hence to have a pure vibrato effect, you may need to set the intensity of the virtual patches using the MOD wheel as source to 0, else the MOD wheel may modulate e.g. the panning as well at the same moment.

Have fun.

yes its the original microkorg with the wood side panels, or wood looking.
and not the newer whiter xl, ill give that a shot.

theres so much to learn about synths its overwhelming and a bit sad i got started with them so late

i also owned the line 6 spider 2, 212. superb amp much better than any other line 6 spider amps i tried later, which i still had the old spider 2
