|
|
I HAVE SEARCHED THE USER MANUAL OF MY PA800 AND HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO FIND HOW TO SAVE OR LOAD A "SET". IT DOESN'T REALLY EXPLAIN WHAT A SET IS, AT LEAST NOT THAT I HAVE BEEN ABLE TO FIND. WOULD SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME HOW TO DO THIS OR WHERE TO FIND THE INSTRUCTIONS? THANK YOU VERY MUCH.

It is simple , to load a set push the media button and select your usb drive and the set you want to load .
It will take a few minutes depending on the size of the set to load .
For saving you go to media again and then select save and then choose all the boxes and name your set and save it to your usb.
Hope that helps . _________________ Moebrand

Well, that certainly sounds simple enough. I'll give it a try shortly. I really appreciate your fast response. Thank you very much. |

Hint: before you load any set, make a good backup of your current set.
You can do this by the standard backup facility (Media - Backup) - full back up.
But I also recommend to use "SAVE" once in a while (Media - Save).
First uncheck the factory protections, and then save all your banks (styles, performances, usersounds) and songbook to your own backup-set.
This can be very handy for instance if you want to recall (a) particular performance(s) or style(s) later on (especially when you edited a lot of them; STS's for instance).
Second hint: before loading any set, delete the global that comes with it, or just don't load it. (For instance drill down the .set file to subfolder 'Style' and THEN load the styles).
You probably want to keep your own global settings in tact!
Again, BEFORE loading any set, make sure you back up your work AND that your back-up is (double) safe (USB flash drive AND computer).
(I once forgot mine... very unpleasant when something goes wrong, I can tell by experience) _________________ Musical grtz, Frans
