|
|
Hello,
I have EMX SD and have a problem with audio in signal.
I want to process external signal by emx filters and effects, but the sound, which is coming is hearable for few seconds and fades out, after 3-40 seconds is fading in again. Do you know what is the problem or how to program it to hear audio in constantly?
Best

- Set Length to 8 (Pattern menu).
- Choose Synth Part 1. Set Synth Oscillator to AUDIO IN + COMB
- Trigger only at Step 1 (of 128). I mean only 1 is lit up.
- Edit Section: Set AMP EG from Decay to Non-Decay. EG TIME to full.
- Go to Step Edit, choose Step 1 to edit. Scroll menu down to Gatetime and set it to 128.
You can do that to all 5 Synth Parts and do all kind of funny stuff with effects |

What happens if you press "Audio In Thru"? Do you here a signal?
If you do, set a Synth Part to "Audio In + Comb" and hold down the ribbon (Arpeggiator) on all positions, do you here a signal now? Turn volume of Synth Part up all the way. Use no modulation. No FX. Set the Synth Part "Amp EG" to Square (not Decay).
There is a little switch between the Audio In plug and the tubes. Try out both position.
If you still here nothing at all, your Audio In Line or Microphone might be defect.
If you cant get rid of the Decay (Fade out) then you missed one of the points I mentioned in the first post, or your in signal Fades Out / isnt constant. |
