Hi Folks,

I realise that this may have been covered somewhere on the forum but so far I cannot find quite what I'm looking for.

I want to set up a number of patches (Combi or Setlist modes) where I have Pianos & Electric Pianos with Pads that I can fade in and out using my Expression pedal (I use Yamaha FC7s)

The pianos will be at whatever the main volume is set at. It's just the pads that I want to respond to the fc7.

Globally the fc7 is working fine, but I have looked in the mixer sections and tried a number of assignments but just can't find the right one. I've probably missed something in the manual somewhere along the way.

Sorry to be a pain, but if anyone could point me in the right direction I would be most grateful. Confused Regards, Jeff

P.S. I'm 62 so the old brainbox isn't quite as sharp as it once was !!! Laughing

If you are set for Expression at global, then go to your Combi,

Play/Midi Filter zones for the 3 Midi tabs. I think you want the 3rd tab.

This gives you the choice to enable/disable expression at the Program/timbre level within your Combi.

Yep I got it!

All now understood. (A lot different than my Nord)

Thanks Greg, you've been most helpful.

Very Happy
