Hello,
In PA900, is it possible to save a user sound in one of the factory sound bank locations, if the factory sound protect is un-checked?
I would appreciate a response,
Regards,
Shawn

Yes , overwriting an existing one , but then your SET must be saved only as full resources backup (BKP file).

hello Anthony,
is not it possible to use single factory-pcg-soundbanks to be saved (and used again for individual loading) as set or as ordinary folder, like usually it seems possible with data of specified type?

i think if someone want to replace a number of factory-sounds with its own sound-creations, such a reorganization would not be a satisfactory solution with bkp-files.

The ordinary save.ALL function never saves factory resources so only a BKP file can include factory sounds data when modified.
though PCM data are included in a SAVE.ALL format , they look the most as unused samples & multisamples with no reference
when saved as ALL format , even when factory sounds have been already modified since factory sound area can't be associated
with custom samples by default.
Also note that Pa900 BKP file format has resources selection option , so I believe that can be very versatile for this kind of use !
As bottom line consider that only factory restore can bring back original factory sounds , and whatever Load.ALL set is loaded
Pa will always be at factory modified state.
