I asked Korg India for the Indian Set and this is what they wrote to me:

Hi Uday,

We do not sell them seperately but Korg will be selling them from their online store in USA in coming months. You can buy from them. Tentative price for the same will be USD350.

Regards,

Hitesh Shukla

Brand Manager

Korg-India

So, we will know when it will be available on the on line store.

Hi All

The pricing for styles and sets etc that are mostly sub standard is tuly rediculous.

Just to note : I have sampled and edited the entire Indian drum kit of my yamaha and now inserted into the 3X in exact order/position/groups etc and use EMC converter to convert the yamaha indian styles i have (with tweaking) and works barely ok for home use. reason i say this is that if you too have both keyboards and want average (or below) indian music off the korg then this is a way to go AS I Believe that you would most probably end up with similar quality yet paying so much..... I dont mind the price provided there is quality to match it.

My gripe with this comes from buying internet advertised styles and loops etc for indian music and only to then realise that the production quality is sooo poor to the point of most times being unusable....

These sites selling these products are and absolute joke and the price makes it a very very painful joke to say the least

AND my biggest fear is that one of these sites might have teamed up with Korg to sell their cr#p.

But we will wait for the release and reviews as this is just speculation from past experiences.

Veren,

You are right about quality of Indian styles/sounds on the web, but this one from Korg India, made specially for Furtado's of India selling PA-900 with the set included is of the highest quality. It was made by Hitesh Shukla, Brand manager for Korg India, and it should be available on the online store soon.

The Indian set is now available on the Korg On Line Store.
$250 for the PA600 and $350 for the PA900. I wonder if it would work for the PA3X by using a Micro SD to USB adapter and plug it into the USB port? The Micro SD card needs to be in for it to work!
