Hi,
I kinda have the same issue, when I play or record some piano, I get short "pop" sounds left and right.
At first I thought it would be something with the effects, but it isn't. I tryed resetting, didn't work.
Maybe there is something wrong with the release sound samples of the piano?

Edit: I just tested out a few things, the "corrupted" Piano sounds are the XL.ST Piano oscillatorsounds.
When I put them into a patch with the same settings as the A00 piano, I get the "pop"sounds if I play enough notes.
I will test if it is just within one of the 8 XL.ST sounds or if all of them have the problem

Hi,
Lot off thanks for your post and valuable information
I am the first time user in workstation/synthesizer keyboard. I have had played only arranger keyboards,
I also tried that you explained above and I get the same result (that is, when playing 3 or more notes , randomly cutoff notes with "pop noise" left and right ) It is a hardware or software problem?.

I asked the (german) Korg support about this problem and sent in a soundfile . The guy from the support told me that he can't hear it.
I uploaded the same file on soundcloud: https://soundcloud.com/glass-world-project/krome-piano-sound-problem
Moreover he told me to go to my store with the Krome and let them test it, in case of doubt they can send it to the Korg Service.

I personally think that it is a bad solder joint inside the memory (because only one oscillator bank is affected).
So when you are playing the Krome it loses contact to the memory sometimes and the voice is being cut off.
This is just my theory, I'm probably just an amateur like you in terms of technical stuff like this.

So I will bring the Krome to my merchant, I will update you on the case when I get a response from them.
Oh yes, and sorry for my english, it's not the best^^

wow, your cutoff is by far worse than mine...

What damper pedal are you using?
My Krome only cuts off sounds when I use the damper pedal,
mine is some kind of cheap noname pedal.

Maybe it has some compatibility issues with noname pedals

I don't used sustain or damper pedals for this video, I just used only release knob on the keyboard.

Hi,
You can edit piano sound with on board knobs at desired level and use damper/ sustain pedal and also use good quality dpeakers or headphones.
