i know its been well documented about some issues with multi layer soundfonts but i am having issues with one particular batch of soundfonts which when imported seem to be pitched higher and with short weird loop points.

Ive remade the soundfonts from the original wav files these soundfonts are from and even with all loop points deleted and still the same issue ?

is there some bug in Kronos as i dont think it seems to be handle all soundfonts or waveforms maybe or something is spinning it out ?

the weird thing is in the collection of wavs these soundfonts are from around 30% are fine as is.

These are single wav soundfonts , no multi layer or end sample / loop , just basic wav waveforms converted to soundfont 2 ( in awave and translator and cdextract neither which makes any difference.)

They are 16/44 all of them , some convert fine , most wont ?

I think it's better to convert the waves to 48 kHz sample rate,
and only then put it in soundfont format

thanks gene and i will give that a go , its quite a weird issue , wondering of the files does not have some other embedded data spinning the kronos conversion out but i cant think what.

soundfonts are very old stuff , they might have some hidden settings for the waves they contain , which affected by newer software conversions
the most reliable way of conversion for me now is following:
manually mapping a patch in kontakt , then save nki , then convert this simple nki to sf2 , then import to K

for drum kits , I import wave files in kronos and make custom drum kits inside
