|
|
Hi MOSS list!
Does anyone have the error codes for the Tritons? They are not listed in the Triton or Z1 or Trinity service manuals that are online.....
I am also also looking for the test point destinations (which are the 16 copper dots next to the ribbon). I assume the other 6 dots are the MOSS voice outputs.
Please point me in the right direction!
I just purchased an EXB-MOSS board for my OS 1.5.2 Triton Rack.
When I install it (and Enter-0 initialize), the Triton Rack boots up and I can load programs to the F Bank. But when I try to select those programs, the Triton Rack locks up and gives no sound.
When I restart the Triton rack it locks on the "Starting System..." screen. I unplug the MOSS board and the Triton boots normally. After I wait a few hours, I plug the MOSS board back in and the cycle repeats...
When I start the the Triton in Test Mode (Enter-5) I get two error codes:
OVERLOAD NG-S1
EXB-MOSS 10-S4
I also confirmed 5VDC coming into the capacitor and some of the test ponts. One or 2 test ponts had 2.9V DC too.
Anyone seen these before?
I will try the "clean the ribbon contacts" trick.
I have solder skills and I am not afraid to replace a chip. I don't have a lot of money invested either... Please let me know if I should tinker or abandon....
Thank you,
Sam Ricci, Jr.
