One of the frustrating things I'm finding with my KK is that I don't yet find the way of getting around on it easy. For example.
I want to get a volume pedal working with it but even when I follow the so called manuals, it doesn't work. I know the pedal works. It usually is plugged into my Kronos.

Can anybody tell me step by step what I need to do please?

All help would be greatly apprecioated.

Thanks i advance.

I think this might be it.
Connect pedal to switch socket on rear (not damper socket ?).
Press shift and program
Move to window g34 set type to pedal.
Move to window g35 set function to volume.
You might have to alter the polarity to _ or +
Window g39 lets you calibrate the pedal.

Should be "pedal" socket, not "switch". For the rest, I hope the instructions work, I haven't tried!

Doesn't seem to work. When I try, I get a calibration error.
Thanks anyway though.

Copied from page 21 of the manual.

Calibration
This specifies the effective operating range of the pedal that’s connected to the
KingKORG.
Connect the pedal, and then press the VALUE dial to perform the calibration.
Move the pedal from the fully up position to the fully advanced position to
check the operating range, and then press the VALUE dial to store it.
If the detected range is not appropriate, the display will indicate
“Calibration Err.” In this case, perform the calibration again

My pedal has an adjustment know on it. I'm going to try setting it to it's maximum range.

I eventually got it almost working right. This was a couple of months ago. I basically just adjusted the knob on the pedal until I got the closest response that I could live with. I basically have a sweep from about 10% to about 90%. I wish I could get it to work from zero to 100 but I don't think that's possiblemwith my M Audio pedal. It works perfectly with my korons though. Strange.
