Have you experienced this operational problem that I have?
The operational issue causing problems has to do with certain memory modes of style play selected.
Under the regular (not global) menu while in “STYLE PLAY” MODE, see PREFERENCES and in Style Preferences select Memory Mode with these three options:

1. Chord
2. Chord + Lower
3. Fixed Arr. + Lower

When using option 2 or 3, (Chord + Lower OR Fixed Arr. + Lower) the memorized lower voices eventually have one or more “hanging” note(s) that won’t go away even when an ending is selected and ends or the START/STOP is pressed. As you might expect, this is usually an ugly discordant “sore thumb” note!

The official user manual describes correct operation as follows:

When its LED is on, the MEMORY button keeps
the Lower track held until the next note or chord
is played. When off, the Lower track is not sustained
when raising the hand from the keyboard.
The chord is always kept in memory.

In my two (2) PA1X-Pro arranger keyboards some of the notes played on the Lower track are sustained and become "stuck" on during play such that they will not stop sounding until I mute the lower voice or press SHIFT/START-STOP (panic sequence). I have loaded some styles originally supplied by the manufacturer when I purchased my first unit in 2004 but that was never a problem for 10 years.

Does this sound familiar to you? How did you resolve it? Is there a possible setting that will cause or silence this?

I am not seeking speculation but --> owners who have actually encountered THIS problem.

I have sent one of these PA1X-PROs to a repair technician who cleaned and re-seated all internal connectors and just got it back today and this problem has not been cleared.

If I have written anything unclear or confusing, please write back.
