Where can I find the monster lead that Derek Sherinian uses on the Korg Kronos? I would like to be able to have the sound for free so if anyone knows where I can get the lead from that would be great. |

Monster Lead is a sound from the Trinity. One that's also very popular and people always go to great lengths to recreate for each workstation every few years a new one is released.
With that said, I think it's best we try to make this sound immortal.
If there are any Trinity users reading this post, can you please take photo's of all the pages in PROG mode this sound is made from. If you email them for me, I'll upload them to KORG Forums so they are accessible forever, and I'll make a KRONOS version of this sound.
Kind regards
Sharp. _________________

I thought someone had uploaded a version to Korgpatches (if that site is still around). I have an AL-1 version that I programmed a while back. It was actually pretty easy. If you follow the above tutorial, you should have no issue. _________________ ::: Korg Kronos 88 ::: Alesis Fusion 8HD ::: Kurzweil PC361 ::: Roland V-Synth ::: DSI Prophet 12 ::: DSI OB-6 ::: Korg Prophecy ::: Moog Micromoog ::: Yamaha CP-30 ::: Alesis Andromeda ::: Moog Sub37 ::: Sequential Prophet 600 ::: Korg MS2000BR ::: GSI Burn :::

I have made a direct copy of it from my Trinity on my Kronos by using the screens side by side. This is different to the actual Monsterlead because it also has the feedback triggered by using the ribbon. Please give me a PM and I will send it to you. _________________ Korg Kronos 88, Korg Trinity plus |

Unfortuneatly, this does not have the feedback tones and isn't in a combi. I am trying to look for the monster lead he uses on his KORG KRONOS. I think the actual sound is in a combi. |

There's a combi called "Monster Power Synth" in bank I-D slot 032. When you move the joystick on the -Y axis it has kind of a feedback sound. Maybe that's the one you're looking for. _________________ Jim

Yes, of course. Is the same for any Kronos and Nautilus. The pack contain programs only, EXi and HD-1. No sample data. _________________ http://www.danstesco.ro |
