Kontrol49 Editor Librarian Fails to Start on Snow Leopard 10.6.8, on a 13" MacBook Pro 5,5.

When i run the application, the Terminal shows:

Quote:
Failed to load velocity curve image.
Failed to load velocity curve image.
Failed to load velocity curve image.
Failed to load velocity curve image.
Failed to load velocity curve image.
Failed to load velocity curve image.
Failed to load velocity curve image.
Failed to load velocity curve image.
Failed to load velocity curve image.

Then it shows two error messages in dialogs:

Quote:
Failed to load background image

Quote:
Failed to initialize application

i have no idea what the problem is. My only hypothesis is that there's a problem handling the PICT files in Mac OS X 10.6.8, since Preview doesn't handle them unless you run the 32-bit mode. Was something changed in the system that made applications fail to work with PICT files present in the Resources? When replaced a few PICT files with PNG versions, that didn't help. The application must be looking for their full name with extension, or it cannot handle PNG images. i don't know what else to try.

Anyone else have this problem? Anyone have any ideas?

So... no one has seen this? No one has any ideas? Here i am a year later trying to do the same stuff and still having this problem.

Sometimes i wish that computers didn't even exist. Software just rots.
