I think you clicked on the wrong link. The one with the PDF document icon only gets you the documentation. Look for:

"For KRONOS/KRONOS X: Download the EXs19 demo version"

Click on the word DOWNLOAD. It should be 1.1GB in size.

I already bought the Ex19 and it has in my oppinion one of the best price/performance ratio. Great sounds and a wide variety of different sounds.
I installed the sounds in Disk Mode and included the KSC into autoload in Global Mode.

P.S.
I love the new OS from Korg.

I think any Kronos owner who has even a passing interest in ensemble strings should absolutely buy this library. The strings are worth it themselves and everything else is icing. But it's really good icing.

I totally agree. Whilst the bank stays at only $49, it makes sense to buy it. There's some excellent stuff in it.

I may also grab this. As much as I hate the idea of sampled synths, they are really REALLY nice!

My only complaint is it's a bit of a PIG ram wise at over 500mb!

No 116MB using virtual memory.

I bought this library as well: it's excellent value for the money.

My main interest was in the lush Oberheim pads (Lyle Mays style), and then in the ensemble strings. With the help of "load required samples" I ended up with a personal choice of around 20 of the ~120 patches, and 35Mb of sample memory use.

Oh? That's good news! I'll have to check again. Thanks.

Thanks for the heads up on the load size. Not sure where I got the other number, but glad it worked out. I ended up getting it as well. Hard to go wrong for the price!

While I'm there looking at the other libraries, am I the ONLY one that thinks
all the "Rock & pop Grand" Libraries should be ONE library for the $99? I mean, chopped up 6 times it's not even a consideration! In the demos I didn't see that much variation and the sample set(s) are SMALL! I mean really? $600 for all of them? That's just crazy IMO. Stuff like that is why I'll convert VSTis over first. GREEDY!

Guys,

I bought and really liked this library ... two questions:

1 - I tried merge the "Orquestra" and "Strings" PROG's into a simple COMBI (plus German Grand) but I saw a large use to CPU voice....and the polyphony was "down" especially using EXs45 Symph. Orch. 2.

I tryed turn-off IFX and MFX and I checked the sample parameter on OSCs, but all looks like normal....even I using this PROGs (just progs) the CPU usage is large, this dificult the use with other instruments (like AP + Orch)...there is any tips to minimize this (tried using global midi channel)?

2 - Some PROGs has additional IFXs turned-on, but not linked (not rooted) to the others. For exemple, OSCs was rooted to IFX1 => IFX2 => IFX3... IFX7 and IFX8 was turn-on but not using (not rooted). My question if there is any objective with this (maybe to provide some variations for us) and if is yes, there is a way to rooted (in my example IFX3 => IFX7) during the gigs (real time)

Thanks in advanced.

Price of $49 was a promoting (action) price or what? In web page I saw $99 price for this library!
