I can't find anywhere what the MIDI specs for the new electribe are. For instance, what CC number changes the OSC, Cutoff etc. I assume you can send it CCmessages? How do I know what CC's to send it?

what about sysex implementation? Purportedly, it transmits and receives sysex, but there is no further explanation.
Do you access the 16 parts on channels 1 through 16? How does this work? I have many, many knobs and faders on an external controller, and I'd like to map params on a per-part basis to these.
What about soft-thru? Always-on or non-existent?
What about controlling external gear in a thru-chain? Do parts send out channel messages that correspond to their part number?
Does the sequencer record ALL incoming midi data? Will it selectively pick out what it wants to record? Will it record sysex messages? |
