..in this video I'm playing with oscillators in "slo reggae like tune".

Disclaimer: For the best result use headphones to listen. If in a noisy environment turn to a different style of music
Ps: If I record it again I'd make a better drums and perhaps the piano less trebly |

Over-excited romp through 53 consecutive patterns, each one playing once only.
Event Recorder got halfway through playing this back, then it ground to a halt with a really cool sounding stuck note. Sigh... Back to audio only recording then.

apapdop,
this is some really impressive stuff you've done...I remember Mistabishi/James Pullen was talking about how people should try working with consecutive patterns. You've more than achieved this here. the flow of this track is very organic, interesting, and just downright freakin awesome! _________________ www.soundcloud.com/rob-labs |

Beautiful piece roblabs, such a bewitching atmosphere, reminds me of stuff by King Midas Sound. Such a wise move leaving space for the vocal, very considerate (and interesting) electronic backing. Nice work indeed!! _________________ If I'm not listening to music, or if I'm not making music, then I'm probably thinking about music.

That sucks. And still no song mode too. It was one of my biggest issues; the event recorder not recording events properly/long enough pretty much all the time. I guess I should've worked around it and exported useless loops with cut notes and without fx tails and use those in Ableton.
One day I will adjust to the E2. I promise. |

That's great! Think you did a pretty good job going through the patterns and masking that. There were times where it's apparent, but I feel like that's the fault of the machine.
Here's my latest Electribe video. Teamed it up with a Roland System-1m for an ambient/drone jam

Oh yes... I thoroughly enjoyed closing my eyes and kicking back to this over headphones. Nice one blackholesun and that Roland box looks awesome!! _________________ If I'm not listening to music, or if I'm not making music, then I'm probably thinking about music.

Thank you kindly! Unfortunately I was only borrowing the System-1m, so it's already gone back to my friend (who was out of town). I might have to pick one up for myself. It was great to play with. |

I'm really enjoying hearing/seeing the Grey Electribe being put through it's paces in an ambient/beatless way, very inspiring in making me want to give it a go. Lovely piece blackholesun.
