Q is it possible to use a 76 or 88 key controller ?
Or Is the 'synth engine' limited to 61 keys ?
I would love to have an 88 key version of the King Korg so am considering buying a midi controller or other keyboard with more keys to control the King Korg
Is this possible ?
Im tech smart but fairly new to synths, there strengths and limitations.
Thanks in advance |

It will absolutely work with an 88 key controller. There are also two buttons right above the joystick on the left that will transpose the keyboard up or down when you press them. If you press the left button once it transposes the keyboard down one octave, press it again (it should be blinking) and it transposes two octaves down. Pressing the button to the right transposes it up an octave per press.
By including these it is possible to have access to additional octaves above and below the default range of the 61 key keyboard. Depending on what you are playing this may eliminate the need for a dedicated 88 key keyboard. However, as I said at the beginning, it will work just fine if you use one!

Use my KK with an 88 weighted keyboard, get way better results out of the pianos and other velocity dependent patches. _________________ 2xds-10, ds10+, m01 |

if only humans had 88 identical fingers, lol
sculpted stenograph type keys are probably the best for speed and quite possibly accuracy to if correctly weighted, seldom seen on synths and pianos, perhaps due to cost or some other issue i cant think of right now |
