I’m going to make this one simple. You will need a PC and your Triton again for this. This is mainly for hard house but can be applied to other styles of music. This is an effect that seems to be taking off pretty fast. Many of you would not even have heard this trick being preformed, as its extremely new and radical. 1: Record the start of your Hard house song where there are no vocals being used into your PC for as long as you would like this effect to be used.. 2: Download this program. http://www.analogx.com/files/vocodei.exe its freeware. 3: Play your recorded sequence back through this program and output the result to a wave file. 4: You might need to change the settings to get a clear effect, but try keep the Vocoder effect in your sample as much as you can, but pretty clear. 5: Load your newly record effect into the Triton. 6: Convert it to a Multi sounds. 7: Now play it back at the same time as your sequence in SEQ mode, but keep the volume down so it just gives a hard mix over the original sequence. (get it playing in Sync)
Hey presto, a cool effect that does not take much time to do. For those are willing to put in that extra bit of effort. Insert loads of Volume changes between the beat on your new sample. Get it to come in and out with volume changes like a fast gated effect for an great result.
Remember, with effects like these, your imagination is the limit.
