hey guys, quick question, is there a way to export the event recording that i did (and saved on sd card) as an ableton set? _________________ APC80 - kaoss pad quad - Launchpad - Launch control - an iPad Air 2 with a slew of useless gimmicky apps - electribe 2 free! - and future volca owner. |

Not possible. The event recorder will record what you do on the device and play that back (if you're lucky). It doesn't allow for anything else. No editing, no overdubbing, no audio export. It would be nice if that e2 would write away audio to a wave file. But I doubt that'll ever happen. |

Another thing to keep in mind when exporting to Ableton is that the loops created are not full runs, if you catch my drift.
If you use an IFX (MFX doesn't get exported ) on a drum or sound like a delay you won't get a proper loop as the tails don't make it into the loop. Not sure if there is away around this.
But it sure sounds a bit "off" when you export a pattern set and play it back in Ableton. |
