|
|
Hi All,
I see that if I want to use both EXs17 + 18 on my Kronos, I will need to upgrade my Ram. Can anyone recommend which Chips I should get exactly to prevent a problem? Also, I watched a video on Youtube for installing th Ram in a 61 note version, is there anything different in the 88 key version that is noteworthy, or anything I should beware of in changing out the chips?
Thank you |

The good news is that basically any DDR2 ram that are not SODIMMS will work. Faster is better, so if you can find two sticks of DDR2 2gb RAM at 800mhz to throw in, awesome. If your machine already has 1gb a single 2gb stick will also work.
If you do get two sticks, make sure they're the same type, not super important but ensures compatibility. _________________ Korg Kronos 88 2, Korg Kronos 73, Kurzweil K2600S
