Thanks - very interesting!
I do not like to have just one Volca (Vsample) swing while the others do not. Therefor I use as a master clock my MidiPal which then let all Volcas swing in tandem.
According to its manual the MidiPal has following types of shuffle/jitter to apply to the clock:
##swg: swing
##shf: shuffle
##psh: push effect, anticipating the beats
##lag: lag effect, delaying the beats
##hum: humanization
##mnk: monkeyzation |

I guess the problem is that the Volcas sync on 8th notes, so the level of detail needed to do 16th note swing, even via external clocks is not there? |

My Volca Sample sends swing to my Monologue. All I did was change global parameter 8 on the Sample from the default "once every two steps" to "once a step." Does that not work with the other Volcas receiving sync from the Sample? |
