ok so deciding on whether to get the beats or the sample - one big deciding factor...
with the volca beats - the kick, snare, toms etc, are already loaded into the slots ready to go.
when you load the volca sample, do you need to manually load the samples into the slots before you can play? (every time you boot it up)
in other words, does it remember your last loaded samples or anything like that?
thanks. |

Of course.
It comes with factory samples in all 100 slots, 50% of these are various drum sounds.
Samples are stored in memory and persist across reboots. |

One thing worth adding about this is that even if you go to clear a pattern, the last saved samples you used will still be there. This is very handy since you don't have to reload the samples individually each time you want to quickly clear all the notes out of a pattern. _________________ Roland Juno-60, SH-101, TR-606, MC-505, Casio CZ-101, Yamaha DX100, DX11, Kawai R-50e // Korg R3, microSTATION, Monotribe, MS-20 Mini, SQ-1, minilogue, electribe sampler, Volca series: Bass, Keys, Beats, Sample, FM, Kick, Moog Theremin |
